ASIA Qualifiers - 3rd FAI Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix

We are thrilled to announce the Asia Qualifiers for the 3rd FAI Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix (VSGP)! This is your chance to showcase your skills, compete against the best virtual glider pilots in Asia, and secure your spot in the prestigious Grand Final.

Event Details

Dates:
- Week 1: July 13 (Sunday), July 16 (Wednesday)
- Week 2: July 20 (Sunday), July 23 (Wednesday)
- Week 3: July 27 (Sunday), July 30 (Wednesday)

Local Time: 19:00 to 21:00 (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM UTC)

Organizers: FAI Virtual Gliding & Naoki Takeshi (Japan Virtual Soaring Club)

Format:
The Asia Qualifiers will consist of 6 races over 3 weeks, with one race held on Sunday and one on Wednesday each week.
- Pilots will compete in a series of challenging races, with points accumulating over the multiple races to determine the top performers.
- The top 2 pilots from the Asia Qualifiers will secure direct qualification to the World Final.

Registration and Rules

Registration fee:
- Registration for the Asia Qualifiers is FREE.

Rules:
- All pilots must adhere to the VSGP Rules Version 3.0 and Pilot's Handbook, which are available on our website: https://www.virtualgliding.fai.org/3rd-fai-virtual-sgp
- Pilots must be citizens or residents of a country within the Asia region to be eligible to compete in the Asia Qualifiers.
- Each pilot must choose one glider for all races and use it consistently throughout the competition.
- The same Notams and rules will apply to all events to ensure consistency and fairness.

Reminders:
- Fair Play: All pilots must compete fairly and adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the FAI Virtual Gliding.
- Sportsmanship: We encourage all pilots to exhibit good sportsmanship and respect for fellow competitors.
- Preparation: Familiarize yourself with the rules and ensure your equipment is ready for the races.
